Fake Sensor
We have been programming over the internet on SENSORS CITY.
It is exciting to get data over the internet while in a science
class.
Part of the fun is to see the Monorail move closer and farther away.
Using a motor as a sensor seems counter intuitive.
However one time I wanted to demonstrate the use of data logging
using
RoboLab and did not have a sensor with me. I did however have
a motor.
Writing a program in Investigator using a light sensor on input
1
and placing the motor on input 1 gives good though interesting results.
Holding the motor still gives a reading of 100 and letting it run
gives a reading of 0.
