LEGO Projects of Fall
2001
at Davis Creek Elementary
Mrs. Simon, Davis Creek Elementary 5th grade teacher,
received a LEGO Cities and Transportation set that was the prize
for the 5th grade from the
Nick J. Rahall, II Appalachian Transportation Institute.

Groups of two used the YELLOW sets

to start learning about simple machines.
|
In the 5th grade room is the computer that runs their Red Rover
site.
The red rover software can connect to the CITY at 206.212.61.61
or lego.marshall.edu
This was the first time some of these students had teleoperated.
There will be more learning about remote sensing, robotics,
and simple machines this year at Davis Creek Elementary.
