The idea way to make an SOS that would rotate back and forth to shine to the front, back and up.  First the base was going to be a triangle but the shape was really a quadrilateral and so it did not stay rigid. The parallelogram with two plates between two beams at the bottom is rigid.

Checked out the motion with the battery pack and then set it up on the Red Rover. Now to LEGO CAD the project.
