In concluding our walk through the Davis Creek Mars Red Rover NASA
K12 I want to emphasize that this is not the end, but the beginning of
an ongoing educational trip that may very well end with one of our students
actually driving the Marie Curie on Mars as student engineers and astronauts
with NASA scientists. It may end with one of our students devoting their
career to the advancement of space exploration and other human endeavors
that lead us all into the next century. It will certainly not end with
the termination of the school year or the Grant account. Math concepts,
problem solving skills, and scientific principles learned will carry through
the years with students using this knowledge over and over to build a bridge
to the next century.
