eLab Cars

October 30, 2002
Some of the previously made eLab projects were checked out.
Then two kinds of storage methods were built.
Using one motor as a dynamo, the lamp could be lit or a car with motor made to move.
Electrical energy can be "saved" for later by using a LEGO capacitor.
The car took only 48 seconds to travel from one side of the room to the other the first time,
1 minute 5 seconds back and 2 minutes 11 seconds the third time.
It only went about one eight of the way more before stopping on one full capacitor.
The rubber band capacitor can work as a pull back car or the arm can be pulled back.
When you want to have the car to go, unlatch the pawl from its ratchet.
