Red Rover at Miller
January 12, 2004
Mrs Hamilton
As I set up the camera and RCX rover and IR students started to build a Solar panel Rover.

The machine has a dynamic IP so we looked it up on run winipcfg.
Then the students in the computer lab, 4 th grade, and 5 th grade teleoperated the rover.

They ran back and forth between the rooms to see the rover live.

Rover to rover                                        Red Rover                   and building

The web control page                      LEGO camera

The GUI and the real camera view

Oh no, the rover is almost off the edge!

The 4 th grade room watched on the Red Rover on the web.

These students are operating the model rover and the Red Rover.

The solar panel did make the motor move even though it was cloudy.

They all like to look at the model of the rover that is really on Mars now
and they though it was cool that solar panels can really work.
