Two Ramps
October 20, 2003

Cars are tow go down one ramp and up another.
How can we make the ramps?
These boards and books could work.

Each side must be the same.

Putting cars up increases their potential energy.
As they move down the potential energy decreases and kinetic energy increases.

But the cars do not go as far up as they came down.
Energy is lost to friction.
