COALWOOD DAYS June 30, 2001
Rover see Homer HickamTouch sensors are used to avoid obstacles.
Jay and Linda Hamilton brought an example of the LEGO projects that Homer Hickam inspired.

Homer Hickam's interest in rockets while in high school at Big Creek High was the reason
Linda Hamilton worked with students there and at Barboursville to connect LEGO robotics and rockets.

Homer Hickam was very gracious to us.
We are pleased that the Internet launch of rockets by LEGO robotics worked.

It seems our tradition when in Coalwood is to have a frozen strawberry.

Thank you, Homer Hickam, for your inspiration.
