Spring Hill Elementary
Robotic Elf in the News
November 19, 2001

While the Herald-Dispatch photographer took photos the Red Rover
camera captured his.

Pictures were taken of cameras taking pictures over the internet
and in robotics programmed to react to camera input.

These students wanted to program the monorail at the SENSORS CITY
to see "roller coaster" ride again.
The camera in the ELF's belt is a sensor input for motion.

When their program is running the ELF's head and arm move
when areas on the computer screen are activated.

He keeps moving when we move. STAY STILL a second.

Oh, no his head needs to move back.

We can get other things to move, too.
Programming here and over the internet is good hard fun.
