LEGO CLUB

May 14, 2005

For our last gathering of the spring we tried out some of the mini challenges for the summer camps and preparation for FIRST LEGO League in the fall.
As people came into the LEGO City they teleoperated the Mars rover and LEGO City and farm robotics.
The challenges were to test bumper programs for going through a maze, follow line programs for raising flags and using two light sensors for following a line and reacting to other lines.
The chicken is trying to cross the road.
Follow line program to raise flags.
The maze is being made out of the tubes and balls.  Everything goes fast.
Touch sensors are used in programming when to turn.
Light sensors are used for follow line programs for raising flags.
The Aquabot camp will have a derrick to start up.

They built a bot from scratch and programmed in one hour.
