Geoboards can not be folded like this Geoboard can.
Folding divided the paper into squares, other rectangles, and triangles.
It is easy to see that a triangle is half the area of the square.
The unit squares can be counted.
Then it is easy to find the total area of shapes.
One person makes a shape. Others copy and check out the area.
