ATI sponsored the DUPLO Workshop for students aged four through nine the week of August 7th, 2000.  The class is meeting in Cabell Hall.  The students worked  five days to complete their study of gears, pulleys, and seven modes of transportation.  Today students  were presented a challenging problem to solve.  The students have gone on an imaginary school field trip to the zoo.  On the way back to school a large tree has fallen and blocked their way.  How will they notify their parents that everyone is fine?  How will they solve the problem of the tree blocking the highway?
