LEGO Dacta is the educational division of LEGO Systems. We are partially funded by our NASA K12 Grant to do Outreach Math and Science Projects that support national and state instructional goals and objectives. Our students started last fall 1998 with hands-on experience with pulleys, gears, levers, motors, sensors, computer programming, and building principles that would enable them to expand their ideas throughout the year and culminated in the building of the Red Rover. We also work closely with the Planetary Society for support, software, and technical help to enable our students to drive the Rover over the Internet.
